In 2014 the Mosquito Alert initiative was created, a citizen science project aimed to end the spread of the tiger mosquito in our country. In 2015 the application, where people could alert of this mosquito sightings and thus obtain presence data of it in our territory, came into operation. Throughout these years the app Mosquito Alert has become a useful tool, and now is crossing borders and expanding through Europe.
The project is coordinated by scientist from ICREA, CEAB-CSIC and CREAF. The /rdlab actively collaborates with CEAB-CSIC providing IT support.
